만 16~19세의 고교생은 고교생만을 위해 디자인된 단기 프로그램에 참여하실 수 있습니다. 프로그램은 2주동안 여러분에게 가치있는 경험과 특별한 기술 발전을 위해 해외에서 짧은 기간동안 체류하면서 경험할 수 있도록 계획되었습니다.

기본적인 프로그램은 2주간의 봉사활동과 첫 주 주말여행으로 구성되었고 소규모 그룹의 친구들과 함께 하게 됩니다. 교육세션, 실습 및 관찰, 저녁시간 활동, 주말여행 등으로 이루어진 2주 프로그램은 여러분의 경력과 대학 지원에 긍정적 영향은 물론 즐거운 경험을 얻을수 있는 완벽한 기회랍니다!

실제 미국 하버드 대학 등 여타 대학에서는 입시지원 싸이트를 통해 대학 입학시 일년정도 가치있고 특별한 활동을 경험한 학생의 입학을 긍정적으로 평가하고 있기 때문에 많은 미국, 영국, 캐나다 등 학생들은 대학 입학전에 자원봉사 경험을 필수적인 코스로 참가하고 있습니다.

고교생 2주 프로그램은 경험있는 인솔자와 함께 진행되는 특별히 고교생 참가자를 위한 안전에 유의한 프로그램입니다. 프로젝트 어브로드는 정치적으로 안정되지 않은 국가에서 프로그램을 진행하지 않고 현지사무소 직원들의 24시간 연락체계로 추가적인 안전을 지원합니다.

고고학 (Archaeology)
- 페루 잉카 프로젝트 & 고고학 (Inca Projects & Archaeology in Peru)

  잉카 문명의 놀라은 역사에 관해 알아보고 싶으신가요? 야외 활동을 위해 여러분은 페루 잉카의 성스러운 계곡 (Sacred Valley)에 도착하고 안데스 산맥의 멋진 풍경에 둘러싸이게 될 것입니다. 잉카 프로젝트에서 고고학 활동과 지역사회를 위한봉사를 하게 됩니다. 여행은 잉카 왕국의 장대함에 대한 소개와 함께 쿠스코(Cusco)에서 시작되고 안데스의 작은 마을 후이로(Huyro)에서 지역의 고고학 전문가와 함께 일하게 됩니다.이곳에서 페루역사대학(Peruvian Historical Institute)과 협력하여 최근 잉카 유적지로 발견된 잉카 테라스와 건축물들을 발굴하고 세척하는 일을 돕게 됩니다.
  자원봉사자는 자원봉사센터 주변의 일을 지원하기도 하고 지역사회 프로젝트를 진행하기도 합니다.
  거대한 마추피추와 잉카부족이 스페인 정복자와 마지막 전투를 벌였던 올란타야땀보(Ollantaytambo)를 포함하여 많은 고고학적 불가사의를 마주하게 됩니다. 또한 유적지와 페루인 마을의 전통시장을 방문하고 마지막 밤은 잉카의 수도 쿠스코에서 보내게 됩니다.

- 루마니아 고고학(Archaeology in Romania)

  루마니아 고고학 프로젝트에 참여하면서 여러분은 고고학 실습 경험과 관련된 실질적인 기술들을 배우게 됩니다. 클루즈(Cluj)시 근처의 폴로리썸(Porolissum)으로 불리우는 작은 유적지의발굴 및복원 싸이트에서 일하게 됩니다.
  고대 로마 유적지에서 일하는 것은 이미 오래전에 사라진 문명에 대해 학습할 수 있는 멋진 기회입니다. 단서와 조사와 실질적 연구를 통해서 고대인들의생활방식의여러 단면을 재구성하기 위한시도를 할 수도 있습니다.일의 범위는 다양합니다. 대부분의 시간을 싸이트발굴에 투자함으로써 발견된 유적의 분석에 참여하고 워크샵에 츨석하고 발표를 할 수도 있습니다.
  숙소는 발굴지역에서 5분 거리에 위치한 자원봉사 하우스를 공동으로 사용합니다.
  주말에는 산으로 둘러싸인 아름다운주변 마을들을 탐험하게 됩니다.

- 자메이카 지역사회 건축 (Community Building in Jamaica)

  자메이카에서 멘체스터의 집들을 건축하거나 수리하는 일을 돕는 2주 스페셜 지역사회 건축 프로젝트에 참여합니다.지역 건축 전문가와 함께 팀의 일부로써 알루미늄 지붕 수리, 창문 수리, 모르타르 섞기. 벽돌 만들기 등의 일을 하게 됩니다.
  자메이카는 허리케인 벨트에 위치한 열대지역의 섬입니다. 멘체스터는 수년간 허리케인으로 인해 상당한피해를 입었고프로젝트 어브로드는항상 가난한 사람과 노약자들에 대한 영향이 줄일수 있는 사전방지방법들을 지속적으로 찾고 있습니다.이러한 이유가 프로젝트 어브로드자메이카와ADRA(Adventist Development Relief Agency)의 파트너쉽을 이끌었고 두 기관은 비슷한 비젼을 공유하고 있습니다.
  ADRA International 기관은 개발과 구조에 중점을 둔 독립적인인도주의 에이젼시로 활동하고 있습니다. Projects Abroad Jamaica와 ADRA 의 파트너쉽을 통한맨체스터 지역의 집수리는 가난하고 빈곤한사람들의 삶을 바꾸는 결과를 가져올 수 있습니다.자메이카에서 도움을 필요로 하는사람들의 생활 증진을 위한가치있는 헌신을 통해 여러분의 삶이 변화되는 경험을 느껴보세요.
  주말에는 유명한 섬들의 해변과 동굴들중의 하나를 탐험하는 여행을 떠납니다. 여행은 자메이카를 유명하게 한 음악, 댄스, 음식, 다른 문화적인 단면들에 젖어들 수 있는 기회이기도 합니다. 모든 발런티어는 프로젝트의 마지막에 봉사활동 증명서를 받게 됩니다.

  단기간의 해외봉사를 통해 여러분의 손이 더러워지더라도 물리적 결과물을 보기를 원한다면 지역사회 건축 프로그램이 적합합니다. 케이프 타운(Cape Town)에서 프로젝트 어브로드가 상시적으로 협력하는 지역사회내의 고아원과 복지센터를 위한 건물을 건설하는 것을 지원합니다.
  자원봉사자들은 새로운 건물을 짓고, 더 나은 시설을 만들고, 복지센터를 만들고, 조기교육센터들을 더 편안하고 안전한 장소로 만드는 데 중요한 역할을 하게 됩니다.일상적인 활동에는 기초공사를 위한 지반굴착, 시멘트 섞어 붇기, 지붕공사, 완성된 건물에 페인트 칠하기 등이 포함됨니다.
  발런티어는 이 매혹적인 나라에 대한독특한 통찰력을 제공하는지역의 호스트 패밀리와 함께 생활합니다.
  주말에는 다른 발런티어들 및지역 스텝들과 함께 유명한 테이블산(Table Mountain)과케이프 포인트 국립공원(Cape Point National Park)을 방문합니다. 헤르마네스(Hermanus) 근처에서 고래를 관찰할 기회를 가질 수도 있답니다!

  지역사회에서 봉사하면서 아르헨티나 문화를 경험할 수 있는 기회와 함께 인텐시브 스페인어 수업을 받을수 있는 프로그램입니다. 스페인어를 배우는 학생이나 문화적인 경험을 원하는 누구에게나 적합한 프로그램입니다. 시에라 시카스 산맥(Sierras Chicas mountain range)의 기슭에 자리잡은 활기넘치는 도시 코르도바에서 활동하게 됩니다.
  자원봉사자는 하루에 세시간의 스페인어 수업을 받게 됩니다. 수업은 대화 방식으로 이루어지고 각 단계마다 격려를 받게 될 겁니다. 여러분이 코르도바를 더 잘 알게 되고 지역주민들과 어울리게 될수록 일상에서의 스페인어 연습을 통한 새로운 지식들을 더 많이 쌓아 가게 될 것입니다. 기초를 완벽하게 마스터하기를 원하거나 여러분의 스페인어 실력 발전을 위한 목적이라면 수업은 여러분의 수준에 맞추어 진행됩니다.
  스페인어 수업후에는 지역사회에서 어린이들을 위한 자원봉사를 할 기회를 갖게 됩니다. 돌볼 능력이 없는 부모들에 의해 버려진 많은 아이들이 있습니다. 자원봉사자들은 어린이들과 교육활동, 게임, 스포츠를 하면서 시간을 보낼수 있습니다.
  주말에는 전통적인 마을로 여행합니다. 유명한 아르헨티나 혁명가인 체 게바라(Che Guevara)가 살던 집을 방문할 기회도 있습니다.

  어린이들을 위한 재미있는 교육활동들을 위해 여러분이 아는 게임, 노래, 예술, 수공예품 등은 항상 환영받을 것입니다. 협력기관들의 환경 개선을 위한 페인팅이나 장식 프로젝트에 참여할수도 있습니다. 이러한 활동들은 아이들과 지역 스텝들 모두에게 매우 환영받는 답니다.
  위대한 사원 앙코르 와트를 방문하지 않고 캄보디아 여행을 논할수 없습니다. 주말여행은 주요 사원 몇몇 지역을 방문할 수 있는 기회입니다.

  아이들과 함께 하기를 좋아하고, 환경보호 프로젝트에 참여하며, 스페인어 실력을 실습하면서, 멋진 나라에 살아보고 싶다면 최고의 프로그램입니다! 코스타리카는 중앙아메리카에서 가장 안정적이고 잘 발달된 국가이고 라틴 아메리카를 경험하기에 적합한 곳입니다.
  바라혼다 국립공원(Barra Honda National Park)에서 여러분은 유명한 동굴들을 포함한 광범위한 공원 투어를 하게 됩니다. 재식림, 포유동물 연구, 나비와 박쥐 연구, 빌딩 페인팅, 산책로 유지 보수 등이 포함된 다양한 프로젝트에 참여하게 됩니다.
  두번째 주는 코스타리카 프로젝트 어브로드 사무소가 위치한 라이베리아시에 있는 사회복지 프로젝트중의 하나에 참여하게 됩니다. 발런티어들은 평소에 관심을 많이 받지 못한 아이들에게 특별한 애정을 가지고 함께 게임을 하거나 돌보면서 봉사하게 됩니다. 교육에 관심이 있다면 기초 영어교육을 할 기회도 있습니다. 낮에는 복지센터중의 하나에서 일하고 저녁에는 댄스수업에서 퀴즈까지 다양한 활동들로 채워집니다. 특별한 언어능력을 향상시키길 원한다면 라이베리아에서 생활하는 것 자체가 지역주민들과 스페인어로 대화할 다양한 기회를 제공합니다.
  외부로의 주말여행은 2주 발런티어 모두가 참여합니다. 자원봉사로 프로젝트에 참여하면서 동시에 이 멋진 나라에서 다양한 아름다움을 느낄수 있습니다. Pura Vida!

  주말에는 아디스 교외의 엔토토산(Entoto Mountain)을 방문하거나 온천에서 휴식을 취할 수도 있습니다. 또한 수도원을 방문해서 에티오피아의 역사를 공부할 기회도 있습니다.

  피지 프로그램은 불우아동의 환경을 증진시킴과 동시에 이 매력적인 섬나라의 지역사회에 편입되어 볼 수 있는 이상적인 기회입니다. 자원봉사는 주요섬인 비티레부(Viti Levu)의 나디(Nadi)에서 이루어집니다.
  오전에는 어린이들을 돌보고 함께하는 활동을 하고 오후에는 유치원에서 개보수하고 장식하는 활동을 합니다. 2주가 상대적으로 짧긴 하지만 피지 프로그램은 여러분의 시야를 넓히고 다른사람들의 삶에 커다란 변화를 줄 수 있는 멋진기회가 될 것입니다.
  주말에는 피지의 유명한 섬의 해변에서 휴식을 취할수도 있고 전통적인 피지 마을 방문을 위해 여행을 떠날수도 있습니다.

  가나 프로그램은 아쿠아팸 언덕(Akuapem Hills)이나 케이프 코스트(Cape Coast)에 기반하고 가나의 생활방식에 충분히 젖어들 수 있도록 도와줄 수 있는 지역 사회의 홈스테이 가정와 함께 합니다. 프로그램을 통해 자원봉사자로써 가나를 알아가고 탐험하면서 다른 사람들의 삶에 많은 변화를 줄 수 있답니다.
  2주동안 케이프 코스트의 고아원이나 지역 학교에서 아침에는 건물을 보수하거나 꾸미는 작업을 하고 오후에는 어린이들을 돌보고 함께 놀아주는 일을 하게 됩니다. 텅빈 벽에 벽화를 그리거나 한 층을 더 올리는 작업을 하면서 아이들 일상생활에 오래도록 기억될 가치있는 기여를 하게 됩니다.
  자원봉사자는 아쿠아팸 언덕에서 작고 친밀한 사회의 일원이 됨니다. 아침에는 페인트칠을 돕거나 지역학교를 보수하면서 지역사회 프로젝트에서 일하고 오후에는 사회복지 프로젝트의 한 기관에서 게임을 하거나 아이들을 위한 활동들을 계획합니다.
  여러분이 어디서 발런티어를 하든지간에 여러분은 일상 생활에서 관심이 부족한 아이들에게 더 많은 주의와 사랑과 관심을 주려는 노력으로 잊을수 없는 인상을 남길수 있습니다.
  주말에는 휴식을 취할 수 있는 가나의 야자나무들이 멋진 해변을 방문하거나 나무위에서 높은 카누피길을 따라 걷거나 정글을 하이킹할 수 있는 케이프 코스트 근처의 카쿰 열대림 보호구역을 방문하기도 합니다. 케이프 코스트의 유명한 노예 항구를 방문할 기회도 있습니다.

  Taking part in our Care & Community project in India is a great way to experience firsthand this fascinating country and make a significant impact in other people's lives as well as your own.
  The project is based in the southern India in Madurai, also know as the Temple City, due to its gigantic Meenakshi temple complex. During your 2 weeks here, you will work either in a local orphanage or school, painting or doing building work in the mornings and getting the children involved in educational activities and games in the afternoons. Your work will make a valuable and lasting contribution to a placement that would otherwise be unable to afford a new coat of paint or renovation of a room.
  You will stay in hostel accommodation close to the area where you are working. Evenings are set aside for cultural or leisure activities organized by our local staff. At the weekend we will organize a trip that will allow you to experience the real beauty of India and enjoy the breathtaking views provided in a country famed for its temples, waterfalls and its scenic natural environment.
  For those who want to do a stay for a whole month, you can sign up for a 1-Month Special from July 29th to August 25th. Staying for a month will allow you to make more of an impact and gain a broader perspective of southern India.

  자원봉사자는 여름캠프 프로그램을 통해서 지역 고아원의 아이들의 삶을 개선하는 데 참여할 수 있습니다. 프로그램의 목적은 예술, 드라마, 댄스, 스포츠를 통하여 사회적 발전과 문화적 교류를 촉진하기 위한 것입니다.
  예술, 수공예품, 상상력이 필요한 게임, 댄스와 드라마 등 예술 공연처럼 어린이들을 위한 활동들로 계획되어 있습니다. 자원봉사자는 또한 소프트볼, 축구, 탁구, 운동장에서 할 수 있는 실내외 게임을 진행할 수도 있습니다.
  자원봉사자는 울타리나 벽을 칠하거나 고아원 주변의 벽화를 다양한 색상으로 그리는 것을 도울 수도 있습니다. 정원에 야채와 과일들을 심는 것을 도울 수도 있고 2주 기간 후반에는 아이들이 자신의 재능과 여러분의 도움으로 완성된 예술 작품들을 뽐낼수 있는 예술과 수공예품 전시회인 작은 콘서트도 준비됩니다.
  주말에는 섬에서 유명한 해변과 동굴의 하나를 방문합니다. 여행은 자메이카의 음악, 댄스, 음식, 다른 문화적 단면들 속으로 깊게 빠져들 수 있는 기회입니다. 자원봉사자 모두가 프로젝트를 마친 후 봉사활동 증명서를 받게 됩니다.

  넘치는 에너지와 열정을 가진 분이라면 몰도바의 어린이들에게 기억에 남는 여름 방학을 만들어 주세요. 몰도바는 유럽에서 가장 가난한 나라이고 저희가 돌보게 되는 어린이들은 고아이거나 특별한 치료가 필요합니다. 많은 사랑과 관심을 받지 못하는 아이들에게 사랑을 주는 것이 바로 여러분의 임무입니다.
  몰도바의 수도 치시나우의 외곽에 자리잡은 여름 캠프에 참가하면서 발런티어들은 아이들을 위한 게임과 다른 활동들을 진행하고 재미있게 간단한 영어 수업을 진행할 수도 있습니다. 여러분이 운동, 음악, 예술, 수공예품 어떤 부분에 뛰어나든지 자원봉사자 스스로의 생각과 흥미들은 항상 환영받는답니다. 물론 다른 한편으로 여러분들도 방문하기 어렵지만 매력적인 역사를 가진 몰도바의 삶에 대해 많은 것을 배울수 있답니다.
  주말에는 전통 마을을 방문해서 아름다운 시골 풍경을 탐험하고 몰도바의 역사와 문화에 대해서도 배우게 됩니다.

  모로코는 지리학적으로 유럽에 가깝지만 문화적 정치적 경제적으로 중동과 훨씬 더 많은 공통점을 가지고 있답니다. 아랍어는 모로코의 공식 언어이고 제 2의 언어인 불어와 함께 널리 사용됩니다.
  여러분과 동료 발런티어들이 이곳에 머무는 동안 라바트의 저희 협력 복지기관중의 하나에서 꼭 필요한 지역사회 프로젝트에 참여하게 됩니다. 일상적인 일들에는 아이들과 게임하고 기초적인 교육을 진행하는 일들이 포함되어 있답니다.
  모로코의 전통적 예술 기술을 배우고, 시장에서 쇼핑을 하고, 전형적인 모로코 음식을 만들고, 모로코의 전통적인 주거인 리아드에서 음식을 만들면서 하루를 보낼 기회도 있습니다. 모로코인 사중주의 세레나레를 들으며 여러분의 요리 샘플을 만들수도 있답니다!
  모로코에 머무는 동안 아랍어나 불어를 사용하는 홈스테이 가족과 함께 살게 되고 가족들은 모로코의 전통에 대해 많은 것을 가르쳐 줄겁니다.

  언어코스에는 전문적인 언어 전문가들이 20시간의 교실에서의 강의를 진행합니다. 언어코스에서 학습하는 외에도 여러분과 동료 자원봉사자들은 라바트의 파트너 복지센터의 하나에서 지역사회에 꼭 필요한 프로젝트에 참여하게 됩니다. 일상적인 일들에는 아이들과 게임하고 기초적인 교육을 진행하는 일들이 포함되어 있답니다.
  모로코의 전통적 예술 기술을 배우고, 시장에서 쇼핑하고, 전형적인 모로코 음식을 만들고, 모로코의 전통적인 주거인 리아드에서 음식을 만들면서하루를 보낼 기회도 있습니다. 또한 모로코인 사중주의 세레나레를 들으며 여러분의 요리 샘플을 만들수도 있답니다!

Whether you’re mastering the basics or improving the French you already know, the lessons will be adjusted to your level.
  During your placement you will be involved in renovating and decorating classrooms in a local kindergarten. This will help create a clean and colorful environment for children to return to after their summer vacation.

  Based in several small towns along the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, south of Colombo, care work in Sri Lanka is a multifaceted experience offering an enormous variety of choice. However, all the work has one basic requirement: a love of working with children.
  You will work with your fellow volunteers in orphanages and day care centers helping children learn the alphabet or organizing activities like arts and crafts. In the afternoons, volunteers assist in numerous areas with the children - from helping with homework to organizing sports games to reading with a child individually.
  You will live with a local host family, which allows you to be fully immersed in the Sri Lankan way of life.
  Depending on the weather during the weekend, we will either take you rafting, to one of the many beaches in the region for water sports, or to visit an ancient city.

  English is becoming vital in the Tanzanian economy and the orphanages want the children to start learning English as soon possible. During your placement you and your fellow volunteers will be able to plan fun and interactive educational activities to do with the children to help and encourage them to learn English.
  During the weekend you will have the opportunity to experience the breathtaking scenery in one of Tanzania’s national parks.

  If you're interested in joining a conservation project and living in a gorgeous country, then look no further than this trip! Costa Rica is one of the most stable and well developed countries in Central America, ideal for volunteers who want to experience Latin America.
  Volunteers work at the conservation project at Barra Honda National Park, about two hours drive from Liberia. Barra Honda is made up of 2,295 acres of tropical dry forest. The park hosts an extensive series of trails, which you will help to maintain and clear.
  The park is home to howler and capuchin monkeys, peccaries, coatis, small cats, and a wide variety of birds and reptiles. It also features a look-out point which offers impressive views of the valleys of the Tempisque River and some of the islands in the Gulf of Nicoya.
  During your stay you will be given an extensive tour of thepark, includingthe caves that the park is famous for.You'll also be involved in a variety of ongoing projects which may include reforestation work, a mammal study, a butterfly and bat study,painting buildings, and restoring trails.
  Volunteers live in shared dormitory accommodation in the park itself and there is a large communal area where everyone eats together. An adventurous weekend trip to an outdoor destination offers you the chance to experience another aspect of Costa Rica’s natural beauty.

  Located at the Campamento Tecoman biological station on the Pacific Coast, you will spend your two weeks learning Spanish and helping out on a variety of conservation projects. This project offers you opportunities like no other, including assisting in the protection of the rare Olive Ridley turtle.
  You will receive two hours of Spanish lessons five days a week, taught in small groups. Classes are extremely interactive and you will be encouraged every step of the way. Whether you want to master the basics or improve your current level of Spanish, the teaching will be adjusted to your level.
  During many of the evenings you will be working on our turtle project - helping count, collect, and bury the precious eggs in a safe enclosure to protect them from predators and poachers. Once the eggs have hatched you will help release the newborns into the sea. Volunteers also look after the adult turtles that we have in pools; these turtles have been injured and would not survive in the wild.
  Volunteers will also be involved in our crocodile conservation work, a study of the wildlife in the local lagoon, and a variety of building and maintenance work. Volunteers live in shared tents under a palapa on the beach. The weekend trip will be to a local beach resort, where you can relax and swim in the sea.

  For a chance to truly get away from it all this summer, join us for two weeks in the Peruvian rainforest, located deep in the heart of the Amazon. This project offers a unique opportunity to experience the rainforest environment and participate in important conservation activities.
  Upon arrival at our jungle base at the Taricaya Lodge, you will be given a full orientation and receive an introduction to the project from one of our conservation staff. You will spend the two weeks working on the same schedule as our regular and more experienced volunteers. Projects currently include wildlife observations from our viewing platform high in the jungle canopy, night observation walks along the extensive network of trails, work on our animal release program, and managing a pilot farm we’ve created.
  All volunteers live together at the lodge in shared rooms or small bungalows. Your weekend trip will either be a camping trip down river or a visit to Puerto Maldonado where you can relax in more luxurious surroundings and have a fun night out.

  태국의 모든 해양환경보존 프로젝트 참가자는 끄라비에서 저희 직원들과 만나게됩니다. 끄라비는 저희 프로젝트가 진행되는 아오낭(Ao Nang)에서 20킬로미터 떨어져 있습니다.발런티어들은 다이빙을 위한 자격증인 4일간의 오픈워터코스(Open Water course)에 참가합니다. 처음에는 얕은 물에서 숨쉬는 법, 마스크를 청소하는 법, 압력을 중립화하는 것 등을 배우게 됩니다. 또한 버디(다이빙 파트너) 시스템과 물속에서 사용하는 수화에 익숙해지게 될 겁니다.
  다이빙 자격증을 취득하게 되면 여러분의 노력은 열대어, 거북이, 바다성게, 산호와 같은 바닷속 세상을 만날수 있는 멋진 세계로 내려가는 것으로 보상받게 될 겁니다. 바닷속 해초와 바닷 생물파괴를 관찰하고 분석하면서 여러분은 남서태국 해안의 귀중한 에코시스템을 보존하는역할에 한 부분으로서 기여할 수 있습니다. 이 외에도 해변을 청소하는 일이나 망그로브 재식림 등에도 참여하고 근처의 현지시장을 방문하는 기회도 있답니다.

  Do you want to find out more about the amazing history of the Inca civilization? You will arrive in the Inca's Sacred Valley of Peru to work outdoors and will be surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Andes. On the Inca Project, you will help with our archaeological activities and community work.
  Your trip will begin in Cusco with an introduction to the grandeur of the Inca Empire. You will then be driven to the small Andean hamlet of Huyro where you will work with our local archaeological experts. Here we collaborate with the Peruvian Historical Institute by helping uncover and clear Inca terraces and buildings in an area that was recently discovered as an Inca settlement.
  Volunteers also assist with work around the volunteer house and run community projects in the local area.
  You will be taken to see many of the archaeological wonders of Peru including the magnificent Machu Picchu and Ollantaytambo where the Inca fought their last battle with the Conquistadores. You will be able to visit the ruins and see the markets of traditional Peruvian towns and have a last night out in the Inca capital, Cusco.

  The Khmer Project 2 Week Special allows volunteers to experience a taste of Cambodian culture and learn about the local way of life.
  You will visit many of the main sites of Phnom Penh. Discovering historical places like the National Museum and the Killing Fields with our Khmer Project supervisor will give a thorough insight into the history and culture of Cambodia and its people.
  Volunteers also take part in a variety of both practical and observational sessions which may include Khmer language classes, puppet-making classes, cookery lessons, a copper molding workshop, and traditional music and dance classes. Volunteers may also spend a couple of days living in a rural village community.
  No overview of Cambodian culture would be complete without visiting the magnificent temples of Angkor Wat. Your weekend trip will allow you time to visit several of the main temple sites.

During your two week placement, you will get a broad overview of law in China, spanning the entire legal spectrum of commercial and corporate law.
  Your work may include researching case studies, proof reading documents, and making comparisons between the Chinese, US, and other worldwide legal systems.

  If you are passionate about Human Rights and want to experience working with disadvantaged children in Africa, then this is the project for you! This truly amazing placement will have you living in Cape Town and working alongside Theodore Kamwimbi. Mr. Kamwimbi is one of South Africa’s most experienced Human Rights lawyers and has worked with the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
  Theo and the Human Rights Team will use the two weeks you have to show you as much as they possibly can about the work they do in the poorer areas of Cape Town. You will have to be prepared for some rather harrowing cases as you meet with orphaned, neglected, and abandoned children.
  At the other end of the scale, Theo meets with people who can play a role in trying to improve the lives of these kids, including the politicians and civil servants who make and implement laws. He will also organize for you to attend lectures and meetings with people who can give you inside knowledge on what Human Rights work is all about.
  Over the weekend you’ll go on a trip with other volunteers and our local staff to famous Table Mountain, Cape Point National Park, or perhaps even whale watching at nearby Hermanus!

The lessons will involve medical vocabulary so you will be more at ease when you are in the hospitals. You can also put your new knowledge into practice on a daily basis through the immersion experience of living with a host family, getting to know the city of Cordoba, and mixing with local people. Whether you want to master the basics or improve on the Spanish you already know, the classes will be adjusted to your level.
  During your time at the hospitals you will be exposed to a many aspects of professional medicine in practice. You will visit a variety of different departments to allow you to observe procedures, work in maternity units, and help out on ward rounds. You will also get the opportunity to attend medical lectures as part of the program.
  Over the weekend we will take you into the hills outside of Cordoba to see traditional villages. There may also be an opportunity to visit the house that once belonged to the famous Argentine revolutionary, Che Guevara.

  Throughout the two weeks you’ll have the chance to spend time in a variety of medical institutions. You may start off at a busymulti-speciality hospital where there can be up to 300 consultations a day or at one of the many specialist hospitals based in and around Madurai.
  During the two weeks, you will also have the opportunity to visit the Leprosy clinic in Manamadurai where you will see how this disease gets treated and how surgery and physical therapy are carried out. As a contrast, you will also have the chance to experience 5000 year-old traditional Ayurvedic medical treatments at the Sree Ramakrishna Naturopathy and Ayurvedic Center.
  The doctors are eager to show you all they can and share their knowledge. On arrival you will be briefed on India's medical system and taught basic physical examination skills.

  The majority of our medical interns find that the facilities in Jamaica are of a good standard; in fact Jamaica was one of the first countries to establish a national health service. However, on this Medicine project in Jamaica you are likely to encounter many conditions that are less common than in North America and Europe.
  On the Medicine in Jamaica project you will get a chance to observe doctors and nurses in a hospital and a health center setting, experiencing one week at each. At the hospital you will spend time at the medical, surgical, and pediatric wards as well as in the laboratory, x-ray department, and pharmacy. The health center offers a variety of services including an adolescent health clinic, wellness clinic, child health, curative health, family planning and health program and sexually transmitted infection clinics.
  The group will also be a part of a workshop and community health clinic during their two weeks in Jamaica. The workshop involves presentations and training in basic procedures such as measuring height and weight, blood pressure and sugar checks, taking vital signs, and first aid responses. The community health clinic will allow you to assist healthcare professionals with health education, screening, testing, and routine checks of patients in areas of the local community where healthcare may not be readily accessible.
  As a Medicine intern on this project you will gain a great deal of valuable work-experience alongside some of the most skilled and inspirational doctors in the country.
  Over the weekend you will go on a trip to one of the island's famous beaches or caves. This will be coupled with a rich immersion into the music, dance, food, and other cultural aspects for which Jamaica is known.

On arrival in Ulaanbaatar, an introductory session will cover basic professional skills as well as discuss Mongolian attitudes and ideas. The focus of the practical work will be at the Central University Hospital of Mongolia, the largest hospital in the country. You'll leave after experiencing medicine in the most remote city on earth and gaining valuable insight into rural community issues.
  Over the weekend you will be taken to Terelj National Park where you will be able to see wild horses and ride a camel. The sights are spectacular! You will also get to experience a traditional Mongolian barbecue, which is a great time to socialize with the other volunteers and local staff.

  Over the weekend you may have the chance to visit the central markets and local temples of Kathmandu as well as explore the hills around the city by mountain bike, or you could take a trip to the huge and beautiful nature reserve of Chitwan National Park.

  This 2 Week Special program is designed to give you an unparalleled overview of physical therapy in Nepal. Based in the intriguing Nepalese capital Kathmandu, physical therapy volunteers will spend time in a variety of different placements including hospitals and local rehabilitation centers for disabled children. These are always inspiring placements thanks to the fantastic work that goes on there.
  You will live with a host family close to the area where you will be working and will participate in evening activities planned by our local staff.
  Over the weekend you may have the chance to visit the central markets and local temples of Kathmandu as well as explore the hills around the city by mountain bike, or you could take a trip to the huge and beautiful nature reserve of Chitwan National Park.

- 탄자니아 의료 (Medicine in Tanzania)

  This program allows volunteers to experience many different aspects of medical treatments and healthcare in Tanzania. The work will be varied and rewarding; you could be shadowing local doctors in a large hospital one day and treating local Masai in a rural location the next.
  You will have the chance to attend medical workshops and learn more about current local issues such as HIV and tropical diseases. Over the years Tanzania has tried hard to teach the younger generation about health awareness and disease prevention. We hope that during your two weeks you may be able to go to the local orphanages and carry out fun and interactive presentations to the children regarding different healthcare issues.
  During the weekend you will get the opportunity to experience the breathtaking scenery in one of Tanzania’s national parks.

  Spend two weeks coaching sports in friendly West Africa! In Ghana you can use your sporting talents to teach new skills and train children at a soccer project in the Akuapem Hills. You’ll spend your first week learning coaching techniques in Accra before heading to the semi-rural Akuapem Hills to work with local children.
  You can show off your coaching skills by preparing children for games, which you can help referee. By interacting with the children on a personal level, you will develop their skills and confidence while having fun playing soccer at the same time.
  During the weekend we'll take you to Cape Coast to visit Kakum Rainforest Reserve where you can hike through the jungle and experience the canopy walkway high in the trees. You will also have the opportunity to visit Cape Coast’s slave fort and learn about the history of the region.
