Partnerships Director (Part-time/ Full-time)
At Projects Abroad, we’re passionate about travelling with a purpose. We love travel, and we love making a positive difference in communities around the world. We manage internship and service travel programs in 25 countries, where we send students and volunteers to help with anything from medicine and healthcare to education and conservation.
A vacancy has arisen within our Korean operations for someone to build upon the number of students and professionals participating in our programs each year.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a large international organisation with offices across the globe.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and organized, capable of developing relationships with schools and universities as well as individual travelers. They need to be an excellent communicator with a broad interest in world affairs and global development.
Working with prospective travelers to establish the most appropriate program for them and to help them in planning and preparation
Developing and maintaining relationships with partner organisations
Devising marketing and sales initiatives alone and in conjunction with international colleagues
Promoting the programs through events and public speaking; creating web content, printed material, newsletters and social media copy
Assisting, within a small team, the smooth and effective day to day running of an international organisation
Translation of website and print materials
SEO monitoring and improvement
Currently live in Korea
Have a three-year university degree, preferably in a field related to writing, marketing or digital media
Be fluent in English and Korean– both spoken and written.
Be an outstanding communicator. Experience in online content creation would be desirable.
Be creative, self-reliant and flexible. You should be prepared to work in a small office environment.
Be interested in gaining experience in content creation and digital marketing
Have good phone and interpersonal skills, knowledge of MS Office programs, and well-honed writing abilities
Have an interest in travel and international development
Be legally eligible to work in Korea
